Happily Ever After

So I will no longer be blogging.

Today, I received this anonymous email posted below. And maybe I'm overreacting, but honestly, I pay a monthly mortgage, I need health insurance, and despite the commute I really do love my job.

Also, perhaps it was time. Perhaps all of the bitching and moaning about boys, depression, my weight, had run its course.

But one thing. I guess I thought this blog would end with me falling in love, getting married, just like those t.v. shows that have the spin off that doesn't work out.

Oh well. Guess that's the difference between fiction and non fiction. Control.

So thank you to my readers. Thank you to my friends who read this and worried about me. And I hope along the way you laughed a little bit.

And don't worry. I'm ok. :)


Dear Ranee, It has recently come to my attention that a few of your students and former students know about your "until september" blog. While this may not be a big deal right now, I am concerned that, should more people become aware of it, you might suffer some unpleasant consequences. I don't know how important your anonymity is, but as a friend, I would like to suggest that you change either the URL or some of the obvious details or make it only accessible to certain people.
